Ibrahim Elgammal and Mohamed Azzam are both Professional Engineers in the Province of Ontario, Canada. They have similar educations and have had similar careers. Each received a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (Cairo University – Egypt), a Master’s of Applied Science degree (University of Waterloo – Canada), and a PhD in Chemical Engineering (University of Waterloo – Canada). In addition, Dr Elgammal holds a Master’s of Management Science degree from the University of Waterloo.

Prior to pursuing the pulp and paper business, they held academic and teaching positions at universities in Canada, Egypt and Saudi Arabia. They have also held senior scientific and engineering positions in the research and development departments of 3m, Xerox, Gulf Oil, and Petro-Canada.
